Story Plot

A young Peter Quill sits alone at the hospital waiting area listening to music on his Walkman. His father enters the waiting area to take Peter to see his mother. Peter walks in to see his mother on her deathbed as she slowly passes away after being diagnosed with cancer. Not being able to take his mother’s death well, he runs out of the hospital and runs as far away as he can before his father or anyone is able to catch him. As he’s on his knees weeping for his mother, he is suddenly abducted from Earth a group of alien pirates known as ‘The Ravagers’ led by Yondu Udonta.
