In the aftermath of Doom: For King and Country, atomic physicist Michelle Korvac has been empowered by a combination of Negative Zone radiation and the mystical energies belonging to the now-slain Shuma-Gorath. After returning to America, following the distressing news of the death of a loved one, Michelle takes to the stars following a catastrophic sudden discharge of Energy. Now targeted by some of the universe's mightiest protectors (as well as the West Coast Avengers), Korvac will wage a one-woman war against death itself.
