Story Plot

In the year 1954, humanity discovered they were no longer the masters of the world when Godzilla rose from the depths, awakened by the Hydrogen Bomb, kick-starting the Age of the Monsters. Following a devastating attack by Godzilla in San Francisco, a new weapon was made to help humanity stand on equal ground with the Kaiju, the Jaeger Program. It is now eighty years after Godzilla's first devastating attack, it is clear that the Jaegers, while holding the ground against Kaiju attacks, have only proven to be a defense, not a solution. That all changes when a dangerous new threat endangers humans and Kaiju alike prompting an alliance between humanity and Godzilla. In the center, is a young woman who may have a stronger connection to Godzilla than she believes and another young woman scarred by loss at the hands the King of the Monsters who may have to overcome her trauma in order for humanity and Kaiju to see another dawn.
