Fabio and Fabio are a homosexual couple living in Rome. Fabio1, naively, really would like to bear a child but he's beaten up by some homophobic abusers. Listening about a new anti-hate law called "DDL Zaia", Fabio1 tries to persuade his husband to become political activists.

  • Plot: Fabio1 and Fabio2 go to gynecologist Dr. Protti asking him why Fabio1 can't bear children. The physician explains it, but Fabio1 goes mad and Fabio2 leaves the clinic, embarrassed. It's dark. Fabio1 walks home but he's beaten up by two bullies. Fabio2 reaches his husband in the hospital, and sues the two men, but they easily get off prison after three days. Fabio1 finds out about a new anti-hate law proposed by Italian politician and civil rights activist Alessio Zaia, called DDL Zaia, and decides to become a political activist to make the law current. Fabio2 isn't interested though. At the LGBT center, Fabio1 meets a Japanese-Italian gay activist named Yuji and starts an extramarital affair with him to make Fabio2 jealous. The two homophobes want a revenge against the couple and assault Fabio2. Fabio1 feels sorry, apologizes to his husband and leaves Yuji. DDL Zaia has been approved, and the two homophobes, this time, get 4 days of jail, leaving Fabio1 and Fabio2 and all the LGBT people in Italy a bittersweet ending.
