    Take a look at Austin Stowell. I first saw him in The Hating Game on Netflix. There he played an uptight goof and showed great comedic timing. He was born and raised in Connecticut so an east coaster like Bishop and while he just turned 30, he won't be too old for the role when/if they finally kick it off. In addition to being the right age, he is very tall. His current acting job is on NCIS Origins as the lead. It's a much more serious role but when he occasionally smiles, the spark is there! THAT guy is the perfect Joe Bishop.
