Fan Casting Masaru in Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time (English Dub)

A boy whose family own and operate a ramen restaurant. Masaru was ashamed to find his father becoming less and less concerned with satisfying his customers after meeting the ogres, even berating those who didn't care for the new recipe. Masaru challenged Fugamon and Ogremon to a ramen competition with Tagiru and the others' help, and snapped his father out of it by making Katsuji's original recipe. Ultimately, Katsuji improved business by reaching a compromise, accepting the two Digimons' contributions to improve his own recipe while keeping theirs on the menu as well.
