Leader of the Chaotix, Vector was the strongest in the team (before Mighty came along). He and his team have been looking for the suspects behind multiple bank robberies involving a pop gun, knocked out guards, and a lot of bombs. Their only lead was completely obvious: the Hooligans. He sent Espio to find them where he eventually reported to Vector that their suspicions were right that they were working with Robotnik and stole money to make sure he built more dangerous robots. Then that's when Espio told him that they're not the only ones not fond of the Hooligans.

I would see this scene where mighty meets vector and vector would tell him that he's the leader. Mighty gives you a deadpan look and says, "First of all, if you're a leader, then why do you look like a dj mascot? And second, in case you haven't noticed, i'm the real leader around here, everyone believes me." He looks at the camera and says, "Am i rights folks." There's so response from the viewers, but mighty says, "See that? They root for me, i'm the mortal brother."
