Character Description
Espio was the purple shadow Knuckles noticed in the events of Dawn of Sonic & Knuckles. When Knuckles was lost in the city after Angel Island was gone, he came to an alley where an invisible Mobian was waiting for him. Knuckles noticed and they had a brawl. When they figured out that they were evenly matched (despite Knuckles' herculean strength), Espio told Knuckles that he wasn't his enemy. Espio explained that the Hooligans have been a pain in the neck for his team the Chaotix for a couple years, and then that's when Knucklles decides to team up with them.
