Story Plot
Kansas City, in the pre-Prohibition era Pete Carter and his jazz band play in various clubs around the city, but when the group's friend and drummer, Ducky, known as Mr. D, is murdered. Pete therefore decides to avenge him by finding the person responsible for the murder.
