With T'Challa gone, M'mbaku is leading a nation still grieving the loss of their Panther King and Great Queen Ramonda. Shuri is the new Black Panther, fighting crime wherever she finds it, Nakia is raising her son in Haiti while also dealing with a strange ability she has gained, and Okeye is dealing with life off duty as a Midnight Angel. Wakanda is not transitioning well into the new leadership and "abandonment" from their Princess. There's even whispers of a revolution in Wakandan walls. Meanwhile in Harlem, Misty Knight and Luke Cage are attempting to catch the killer of a well-known Harlem activist. The world is filled with fear, hate and violence. With the guidance of Storm, the crew will band together to fight injustice.
