Fan Casting Battle of the Bookstores

Two bookstore managers, Josie Klein of a literary fiction store and Ryan Lawson of a romance bookstore, find themselves in direct competition when their shared landlord merges their shops and requires them to compete for the sole management position. Josie, organized and serious, clashes with the easygoing and romance-focused Ryan. As they sabotage each other's efforts while simultaneously bonding anonymously online through a book forum, they realize they might have more in common than they thought. The story explores themes of book snobbery, rivalry, and the unexpected connections that can be found in the most unlikely of places.
