    A comedy in which married Mike and stubborn bachelor Joe meet the beautiful Angie one evening in a jazz bar. Mike has recently been unhappy in his marriage and is thinking about a lover. Joe talks him out of it and decides to save his best friend's marriage by proving that no lover can be faithful and seduces Angie. Things get complicated when Joe and Mike still can't catch Angie flirting with another man, and things get even more complicated when, on the 10th date, Angie thinks Joe wants to propose to her. Connie, Mike's wife, is not very fond of Joe because Mike always gets into trouble with him and she suspects that Mike is cheating on her with Angie and it's all Joe's fault. Mike begins to understand that he is doing something wrong and that he should prove to Connie that he still loves her. Joe sees them every day, sometimes taking Angie with him, and tries to mend their relationship until it finally gets to the point where he decides to visit Connie at work and talk to her about her marriage and how things are going. Mike and Connie's relationship begins to improve and the sweet and loyal Angie begins to wonder where she went wrong that Joe still didn't say I love you and why he didn't propose to her at that romantic restaurant like she thought and wished for. Angie and her best friend Lily use various tricks to force Joe to finally reveal his heart and feelings. Joe also eventually meets Matt, Angie's brother, and they immediately become friends. At first, Angie thinks that Lily wants to take Joe from her, but eventually she finds out that Lily is head over heels in love with Matt and she doesn't know how to tell Angie. Matt is totally crazy about Lily and Joe finds out and helps them get back together. Joe is falling more and more in love and doesn't want to show it in front of Mike to save his reputation. In the end, Angie leaves him a message saying she's leaving because she wants a romantic relationship and he just wants sex, so they'd only be hurting each other. When Angie arrives at her parents' bed and breakfast, she runs into Joe, who broke her heart, but with the help of Mike, Connie, Lily and Angie's brother Matt, he manages to find her and gets a second chance to make things right. In a panic, she pretends that the B&B manager Bradley is her new boyfriend. However, what Angie doesn't know is that Joe has come to get her back and tell her he loves her.
