I really enjoyed the movie Alita Battle Angel by Robert Rodriguez. But I never read the original Manga; out of curiosity did anyone who read the Manga like the movie? I know live action adaptations of Anime/Manga are rarely good, but I enjoyed that one.

This morning thought it would be cool to pick a classic anime to adapt as a story on this website so I'm trying to think of one and if it should be live action or animated.
