Synopsis

The story centers upon Roland Deschain, the last gunslinger, who has been chasing his adversary, "the man in black," for many years. The novel fuses Western fiction with fantasy, science fiction, and horror, following Roland's trek through a vast desert and beyond in search of the man in black. Roland meets several people along his journey, including a boy named Jake Chambers, who travels with him part of the way.

  • macize9608 Is this DT TV show what was supposed to be produced and distributed or streamed by Amazon Prime Video? It was once scripted to broadcast/stream on Prime Video before it was, sadly, eventually abruptly cancelled for reasons unknown, but I pay homage to this idea with my wholehearted agreement nevertheless. But, I would really prefer the Dark Tower TV show be distributed/streamed on or broadcasted from HBO or on HBO Max, like George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books (Game of Thrones), and Phil Pullman’s His Dark Materials before it! What do you think, Dev?! X)
