20,000 years ago, an evil spirit named Dai Shi was sealed away by the masters of the ancient martial art called Jyuken (Beast Fist). Unfortunately, the times of war, despair & all sources of negativity had caused two sides to separate: the Light Side & the Dark Side (which unintentionally was fueling Dai Shi while sealed). In the modern age, Jyuken as Dai Shi suddenly escaped by a former Jyuken student named Jarrod, who tempts him to release him, but possesses him.
