Description of Whisper:

In life she was known as Christine Daae, a chorus girl at the opera house, Palais Garnier. There she met the mysterious "Angel of Music" who tutored her to become a more capable singer than others thought she was. This angel of music turned out to be the Phantom of the Opera, which wasn't just a name, he was a true spectral force to be reckoned with. On Christine's rise to stardom, she reunited with an old friend, Raoul and jealousy set in for the Phantom. He would do whatever it took to make Christine his, even if it meant ending her life so her ghostly form could join his for all eternity. The Phantom lured Christine to the top of the Opera House and in one swift push, her life ended. Christine did indeed come back as a ghost because of her abrupt and unexpected death but one thing happened that The Phantom hadn't predicted. She became a banshee because of her connection to singing. With her ghostly wail, she pushed back the Phantom and ran. It would be centuries before anyone could help her, she would just keeping running and screaming to buy her time away from the Phantom. Luckily in the present, a team of monsters were able to banish the Phantom to spectral plane of existence where he could no longer reach Christine. No longer needing to run, Christine found a new home with The Monstrosities and started to gain an understanding of her banshee abilities, which she needed as spectral mask to control. She goes by the name Whisper now because that's how quiet she speaks and because she feels her life and especially her name ended centuries ago.
