Year 1: Film 2: Phase 1: we witness J'onn J'onzz, a Martian scientist, witness the tragic destruction of his planet, Mars, by his own brother, Ma'alefa'ak. After escaping to Earth, J'onn learns to harness his shape-shifting abilities and telepathic powers to blend in with humans. As he adopts the identity of John Jones, a detective in a bustling city, he uses his newfound abilities to fight crime and protect Earth from threats. However, when Ma'alefa'ak arrives on Earth, bent on continuing his destructive path, J'onn must confront his brother and protect his new home from the same fate that befell Mars. With the help of newfound allies and his own inner strength, J'onn J'onzz transforms into the Martian Manhunter, Earth's newest superhero, to face his brother in an epic battle of wills and powers that will determine the fate of both worlds.
