Justice League: Key to Dreams

Fan CastingJustice League: Key to Dreams

by Dawson Joyce & DC Comics
A sequel to Batman/Birds of Prey: Sirens' Storm, Justice League/Suicide Squad: Enchantress Rising, and Justice League Dark: Destiny Unleashed. After returning to the Justice League Watchtower on the Moon, four of the Justice League members find themselves immobilized by a new threat that's also responsible for having the Moon fall out of orbit. This threat is known as the Key, a ghoulish albino scientist who develops and uses psycho-chemicals to activate all ten of his senses and unlock the potential in his brain. The Key uses a programmable psycho-virus to knock the Justice League's members unconscious and trap them in a dream that they all share; a fantastic type of dream telepathy. The Key states he is counting on the heroes' known aptitude for dispelling such illusions, and that as they wake, he intends to siphon off the resulting energy to open a door to creation and become the center of the universe. These fantasy realms include one with Kal-El as the Green Lantern of Sector 2813 on a still-existent Krypton, one with a now-retired Bruce Wayne going back into action when Tim Drake/Robin and Wayne's son Damian face a dying, cancer-ridden Joker, one with Aquaman in a time where Earth has been virtually flooded, and one with a powerless Wonder Woman facing Nazi archaeologists and demons. It's now up to the most unlikely to stop the Key.
