How does the green check get added to a role, and why to things that are obviously not true? An example is here.

Okay, apparently this guy "confirms" roles that aren't true.

You can report confirmed castings that are not true. Just look for the message "If this confirmed casting is not true or the source link is not valid, click here to report it." on the casting page. If enough people report it as false, the confirmed check will be removed.
