Camila Pitanga Manhães Sampaio (Rio de Janeiro, June 14, 1977) is a Brazilian actress, producer and presenter. She became known in 1988 as Clubete, stage assistant to presenter Angélica on the program Clube da Criança on the now extinct Rede Manchete. As an actress, she debuted in 1993, playing one of the protagonists of Sex Appeal, adding other consistent roles in Fera Ferida, A Próxima Vítima, Pecado Capital and in the second and third seasons of Malhação. In 2001, she was promoted to the first tier of actors at Rede Globo when she was cast as the antagonist of the network's main product at the time, the soap opera Porto dos Milagres. In 2003, she co-starred in one of the highest-rated soap operas of the decade, Mulheres Apaixonadas, for which she won her first television award, the Extra Television Award. After her prominence in Belíssima, she played the most important role of her career in Paraíso Tropical, the antagonist Bebel, a prostitute who became popular due to her comic appeal in her villainous scenes, winning the main television awards, such as the Troféu Imprensa, Contigo! Award, Best of the Year, APCA Trophy, Extra Television Award and Quem Award. she then starred a series of protagonists in Cama de Gato, Lado a Lado, Babilônia and Velho Chico, as well as prominent characters in Insensato Coração and Aruanas.
