Although restricted to a wheelchair, his mutant powers include vast telepathy, which is amplified by the Cerebro supercomputer he invented with Magneto's help, he initiated the peace treaty between humans and mutants but after Trask's attack he hopes for a coexistence peace between mutants and humanity
