Character Description
There is only one King during the course of the story, and he is never named. He is the elder brother of Prince Justin and father to Princess Valeria. When the Witch of the Waste threatens his baby daughter, he sends Suliman to the Waste to deal with the Witch. When the King's brother disappears whilst looking for Suliman, he asks Howl to look for the missing men and get rid of the Witch of the Waste. He then appoints Howl as the Royal Wizard, a move which creates a bad mood in the moving castle. The father of the current King of Ingary was the one to banish the Witch of the Waste to The Waste. He promotes Abdullah and Flower-in-the-Night to Ambassadors.
