The Decepticon communications officer who transforms into a silver 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Christopher Nolan chose Keith David to replace Frank Welker for the voice of Soundwave as Nolan wasn’t a fan of how Soundwave sounded in Revenge of the Fallen and The voice Keith David used for Soundwave is the same one he would use for Mongul in Young Justice a year later.

    also to note, in both the alternate deleted scene and later included in the R rated cut of Dark Of The Moon, Soundwave is the one who injects Yukio with the watchbot and inserts it in through her mouth, making her feel lots of pain, with Misato and Charles watching it while being horrified what's happening Yukio while Dylan is a bit disgusted.

    @tff500 the reason why Frank Welker is replaced by Keith David is because after listening to how Keith David sounds like when he voiced mongul from Young Justice, it made me want Keith David for the role instead.
