Harley would still be a psychiatrist working at Arkham. She discovers Crane's identity as The Scarecrow and his unethical experiments early in the film and is about to report him, until, she is infected with fear toxin, causing her to experience traumatic memories of her past and being swayed to Scarecrow's side. Throughout the film it is slowly revealed that Harley is the Joker's daughter and wants revenge on Batman. By the film's climax she will fight with the new Robin and attempt to kill him as a way to hurt Batman. However, a talk from Batman and the new Robin sway Harley and makes her realize how much revenge has been consuming her, redeeming her in the end
