He's almost as old as rust, in fact, and he was plinking Decepticons and Ick-Yaks with acid bursts from his trusty musket laser long before most of you turbo-revvin' young punks were born. He's probably had a thousand adventures, Kup has, and he'll be glad to relate a story of any one of them at any time to a willing audience.
