Fan Casting Josh Newman in The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel

Josh Newman is the twin brother of Sophie Newman. Josh's aura is gold and has the scent of oranges, posing him as the sun. Josh grows frustrated when the Flamels Awaken Sophie and continue teaching her Magic but ignore him, particularly because he feels his sister is being taken from him and is leaving him behind. He was protective, stubborn, and brave, but didn't always think things through . He finds it increasingly difficult to trust the Flamels due to all the secrets they keep from them, especially as they deliberately leave him out of the loop. Unlike his sister, Josh adjusts almost immediately after being Awakened and is able to instinctively use his aura before having any instruction.
