A sky pirate who served as a crew member for the sky pirates Wind Jackal and Quint. As a child Tem and his brother, Cal Barkwater, were sold into slavery in the Deepwoods. Cal managed to escape, but it wasn't until Quint rescued Tem from the merchant, that he took up a position aboard the Galerider, under the tutelage of Steg Jambles. Tem later served under Quint on his sky ship, the Stormchaser.
