Infinite was roaming Mobius when a singularity opened up in Luminous Forest, the same place where Shadow beat Zero. Infinite saw what came out of it and it looked like the Phantom Ruby's energy surrounding it. Then what he saw nobody expected: HIMSELF!!! Specifically, Infinite from the game Sonic Forces!!! He has grown weak and tells Dawnverse Infinite that he is him from another universe. Infinite was confused, so Infinite Prime told him that this world is just a branch in the tree of timelines.
