Character Description
Superman and Lois eventually do get to Luthor, only a part of the man he used to be, the man Clark considered a friend. Watching Superman somehow, miraculously, make his way through the country, Lex has injected himself with liquid kryptonite in desperation, knowing he would have to face Superman himself. Superman reveals to Lex that he is Clark Kent, in hopes that Lex will remember the man he once was, but it only sends him deeper into madness, and he activates his battlesuit before engaging in one final battle with the Man of Steel. Lex is revealed to the world as the villain he is, and is impeached and imprisoned.
