As battlefield commander in charge of Starbase Command, his job is to see to the running and defenses of Starcom's space stations, satellites, and bases. He is a by-the-book leader who is sometimes frustrated by the maverick style of his buddies Dash and Crowbar. His nickname "Slim" was given ironically by Dash, because he's a big man and all muscle. He's an expert martial artist and with all military guns. His courage in battle has earned him the respect of his superior Admiral Franklin Brickley, as well as the troops under him.
