Character Description
Mara Jade was taken by the Emperor as a child during the early days of the Empire. He trained her as a fail-safe in the scenario that Darth Vader turned on him. Three years after the destruction of the second Death Star, she would officially meet Luke, and over time, the two would fall in love and get married. She was one of the main instructors in the New Jedi Order. At the end of the film, Luke reveals he sent her to Tattooine to raise their son in secret.
