Julius Caesar fought them, and to this day, pirates are still taking ships off the coast of Somalia. Logic dictates that all these pirates would speak in many different ways, but in Hollywood, there exists only one way pirates talk. With an exaggerated English West Country accent and a lisp. Arrr!
