Sonic Frontiers (ソニック フロンティア Sonikku Furontia?) is a video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series that was released on 8 November 2022 in celebration of the franchise's 30th anniversary. The game was developed by Sonic Team, and was published by Sega for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Sonic Frontiers follows Sonic the Hedgehog as he explores the mysterious Starfall Islands in order to recover the Chaos Emeralds after being separated from Tails and Amy Rose when falling through a wormhole.
