Sonic Chaos, released in Japan as Sonic & Tails (ソニック＆テイルス Sonikku & Teirusu), is a platforming video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, developed by Aspect and published by Sega for the Sega Game Gear and Sega Master System, being the third 8-bit video game in the series and the follow-up to Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It was first released for the Master System exclusively in Europe in October 1993, with a worldwide release for the Game Gear in the following months.
