Sonic Adventure 2 (ソニックアドベンチャー2 Sonikku Adobenchā Tsū) is a platforming video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is the sequel to Sonic Adventure, released in June 2001 to celebrate the 10th anniversary. It was the last title in the series to be released on a Sega console. It is notable for serving as the debut of Shadow the Hedgehog, a black hedgehog that resembles Sonic, and Rouge the Bat, an enigmatic treasure hunter.
