Iris is a 16 year old girl living in a small town in Portugal. She loves plants, but hates humankind because she thinks that all it does is damaging the planet. It's no surprise that Iris is one of the strongest Portal Masters in Kaos' team and he hates her for bringing trees in his operation base, likewise she finds him and her teammates annoying.

    @giacomooffredi I actually did mention it in the later books - her parents were environmentalist types who had their efforts constantly squashed by corporate greed and grew cynical as a result, and she sort of inherited that cynicism from them

    @giacomooffredi I mean, that's the plan - adriana opens her heart by showing her there are people who still care for the world around them, she slowly sheds her cynical outlooks and grows to lead people into caring for the environment around them!
