Fan Casting Flameslinger (Modern) in Skylanders Adventures

A talented elf archer who was blessed with a flaming bow and arrow set and boots that let him run so fast he literally leaves the ground below him scorching from a fire spirit he rescued. Before he became famous for that, however, he was well-known for being born with a unique blessing that allowed him to see anything through flames via the fires that burned in his eyes. After being used as a roadside attraction by his parents for most of his youth, he fled home and never looked back, but still fears them coming back for him. Vaguely adult-aged.
