During the first series, Lip is in a relationship with schoolmate Karen Jackson. He gets Karen to give half-brother Ian fellatio under the table in her house, to see whether Ian is truly homosexual or not. This ends up ripping the Jackson household apart when father Eddie catches her in the act.
