Jack’s mother, a take-no-Bull Irish immigrant. The family is considered ‘poor white trash’ by much of the impoverished rural south-Georgia town they live in. Gilda’s a strong woman, but her tough-as-nails persona cracks when she realizes something is very wrong with her son. Although Jack has no memory of the act, he learns in his investigation into his past that he brutally murdered his parents. Aged 30-40
