Character Description
Soft summers are primarily muted and secondarily cool. They look best in muted, cool colors. This includes dusty and slightly dark colors. Cool dusty blues are common. Too-warm and too-bright colors on soft summers can overwhelm them or make them look washed out (a good effect for certain costumes, but less than ideal in other contexts). Common (but not universal!) features of soft summers: cool-leaning undertones in the skin; eyes with cool, muted appearances; cool-toned hair that rarely develops highlights, sometimes with an ashy appearance; low to medium contrast across features
