Character Description
A brilliant scientist, Alec Holland worked in the swamps of Louisiana with his wife Linda creating his Bio-Restorative Formula, to help with the growth of plant life. However, an organization called the Conclave wanted the Formula, and so to take it, they set up a bomb, which killed Alec and Linda. In their efforts, the Parliament of Trees tried to revive Alec as a Swamp Thing, but failed, giving their Swamp Thing his personality basis. After Swamp Thing's resurrection by the Life Entity, Alec was revived by the Parliament of Trees, and is in a battle now, where he may have to choose to become the ultimate Swamp Thing to save the planet...
