A founding member of the JSA, Alan Scott worked on a railroad when he found a mysterious lantern, which offered him incredible power. Originally, he used a ring he forged from the lantern to channel the powers of the Starheart, but over time, he has become a living embodiment of it, able to make constructs with his will, fly under his own power, and so much more. Thought to be dead after defeating the menace Dar'ken, Alan has returned to his teammates in the JSA, and while he still is Green Lantern, he also has returned to calling himself Sentinel, acting as a guardian to the Starheart and to Earth.
