The son of Plastic Man, Ernie (or Luke as he also has been called) was a troublemaker with his shapeshifting powers due to the lack of his father's presence in his life, but Plas would come into it with help from Batman to send him on the right path. When his dad had forgotten his time as Plastic Man, Ernie helped Eel get back into the game to help the JLA, and over time, even as rough as things were for them, Ernie has taken on the identity of Offspring, joining with the Teen Titans. Though not as wacky as his dad, Offspring is every bit the long arm of the law Plastic Man is, showing the apple didn't fall far from the rubber tree!
