Character Description
A former USMC sniper who became an architect born and raised in Detroit, John Stewart was chosen for his great will to be a Green Lantern, acting as one of Hal Jordan's substitutes in his duties as Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814. Going through many changes and tragedies, such as paralysis, John would eventually return to being Green Lantern, and becoming a stalwart part of not just the rejuvenated Green Lantern Corps, but also in the JLA, helping people in and out of his costume.
