Character Description
The son of Edmund Dorrance aka King Snake, since birth, Diego suffered for his father's sins in Pena Dura, an infamous prison in Santa Prisca. Often suffering solitary confinement in the Cavidad Obscura, Diego trained his mind and body, before being "chosen" to test the super-steroid Venom. Eventually leaving Pena Dura and taking the name Bane, Diego unleashed a chaotic torrent to weaken Batman, breaking his back. After being wounded by Jean Paul Valley's Batman, Bane has overcome his addiction to Venom, but his goals of conquest over Gotham remain.
