A Thai-Chinese girl from Pine Ridge and older sister & roommate of Karnchana Amarin. A tough, confident MMA fighter with a sharp wit to match her strength, Mei's Amazon build comes from a lifetime of being trained by her uncle in combat sports and becoming a star wrestler in high school. However, being around her also intimidates people because she's so big and muscular. Mei is a tomboy who is not like other girls, preferring to be associated with a different kind of other girls. Still, she's not embarrassed to tap into her feminine side when the situation demands it. When Mei was enrolled in Golden Falls University with plans to major in physical education, she also had to watch out for her child-prodigy younger sister Ana, who was accepted at sixteen. She also develops a friendly rivalry with Damian Jacobs, and the two are often found training together or hanging out at the gym. Mei also frequently expresses annoyance at becoming the Yellow Ranger since she's Thai-Chinese, though her sister being the Pink Ranger makes her feel a little better. Mei controls the Yellow Eagle Westernzord in her Power Ranger form and wields a spear in combat. She is also a talented Muay Thai practitioner, gymnast, and capoeirista.
