Lucario is one of the lost Pokemon you meet in Ring of Strength. He's Riolu's earnest and devoted older brother, and has been trying to find him after the two were separated but has been having trouble trying to escape from Buzzwole. After reuniting him with Riolu, you can befriend him and tag him in for certain attractions, in addition Riolu can train with him to improve the strength of his Fighting-type moves.

@tildeheart I was wondering…will Lucario also be a teacher for Riolu and Stufful?

@giacomooffredi Maybe not Stufful, but I could see him maybe teaching Riolu specifically, like how Pikachu and Eevee both have specialized trainers for their abilities

@giacomooffredi perhaps Bewear? It'd make the most sense since it's a Pokemon from Stufful's evolutionary line

@tildeheart I wonder how would Riolu's Japanese pronounce be? Boku or Ore? And how would he call Lucario? Nii-san or Aniki?

@giacomooffredi In my opinion, the former for both. They're bio brothers so the commonly-used variation makes more sense to me, and Riolu's supposed to be a polite if not somewhat klutzy kid so the more polite speech option make more sense for me
