Diana Silver Tongue, or Artemis, is the goddess of hunting, the wilderness and wild animals, childbirth, archery, healing, plague and disease. Also, she is one of the goddesses of the moon, alongside the goddess Hekate and the titan Selene. In contrast to her brother, she is known as the protector of women and girls. Following the fall of the Roman Empire, she found herself settled in the American Great Plains. For centuries, she travelled from tribe to tribe, protecting women and children from abusive men; eventually, she became a myth there too. Deer Woman. In the 12th century, her brother joined her in the newly formed Haudenosaunee Confederacy.
