Generalmajor in memoriam Jozef Gabčík was a member of the Czechoslovak foreign army in France and Great Britain a hero of the anti-Nazi resistance and one of the paratroopers who successfully fulfilled the order to carry out an attack on the acting Imperial Protector Reinhard Heydrich.
