Locked away decades prior, V had been sealed beneath the Cross manor, left dormant in a state of near-death for roughly twenty years until a 12 year old Eleanor found him. From then on, he grants her his services and protection. A vampire who hunts his own kind, V is no mere vampire; it has been implied that he is the most powerful vampires alive and speculated to be the very first original vampire. He is only known as "V", nobody ever knows his true name and those who knew wouldn't dare to speak of it.
